The strategy and the Sustainability Plan
Our sustainability strategy and contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals
Our sustainable strategy and an integrated business model enable us to contribute to the achievement of all 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals . In particular, 4 of the 17 goals guide our value creation: SDG 13 "Climate action," SDG 7 “Affordable and clean energy,” SDG 9 “Industry, innovation and infrastructure,” and SDG 11 “Sustainable cities and communities.”
Our Sustainability Plan is defined by taking into consideration the results of the materiality analysis, and in a synergetic manner with the Strategic Plan. This Sustainability Plan is divided into specific goals in the short, medium, and long term, in order to make our path towards sustainable progress transparent and verifiable. Every year, these objectives are updated, and new targets are also defined according to a continuous alignment process with the strategic guidelines and the results achieved. This is in order to increasingly integrate sustainability along the entire value chain, by considering the potential impacts on the economy, the environment and people.

Our commitment translates into strengthening networks and infrastructures while at the same time accompanying customers in the transformation of their energy habits, for a significant improvement in the quality of daily life.
The sustainable quality of the relationships we establish with stakeholders is at the heart of our commitment. We endeavour to build an inclusive working environment for our people on a daily basis, by enhancing diversity and uniqueness, promoting individual development. We also promote the economic and social development of the communities in which we operate and involve our suppliers in order to raise the level of attention on sustainability issues.
